THE ORCHESTRA AS A METAPHOR
In an orchestra, the quality of the music depends on the balance between its different sections, just like in a company!
How does it work?
Toilet paper rolls, balloons, cotton balls, chopsticks, plastic bottle caps… What do these things have to do with music?
We throw away so many things without a second thought. It’s become automatic. But what if we could recycle them into something creative?
If you’re “young at heart,” you might remember the TV series MacGyver—the resourceful government agent who could build solutions with whatever was at hand.
That’s exactly what we’ll do, except we’ll be making musical instruments. And, of course, we’ll be playing them too!

Activity Phases
We start by breaking the ice with body percussion (yes, we use our own bodies as instruments) and arranging “We Will Rock You” into three separate sections.
Each group gets comfortable with their musical instrument and learns their part with the help of our trainer.
We all come together for the grand finale! The combination of the five musical parts creates something extraordinary: our Recycled Orchestra!
